LEANNE THIEF (she/dad)

Leanne is an artist and tattooer based in so called Vancouver, BC on the unceded territories of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), and Sel̓íl̓witulh (Tsleil-Waututh) Nation. Leanne grew up creating art from a very young age in southwest Ontario before moving out west to pursue an education in the arts. While finishing her BA at the Emily Carr Institute of Art and Design, she fell in love with the magic of tattooing and embarked on her career. Leanne draws inspiration from ancient cultures and their symbolism, pop culture today as well as all things flora and fauna. Her style can be described as traditional blackwork with bold lines and contrast while incorporating illustrative fine line elements. Leanne has been tattooing for twelve years now, and enjoys delivering crisp, clean tattoos designed to last.

Leanne is a proud husband and dad to her family of three.
